What is hypnotherapy?

I’m Natasha Belding, a Solution Focused Hypnotherapist and Mindset Coach, and I support people experiencing anxiety, stress, and low confidence. My approach is designed to help you feel calmer, clearer, and more confident, so you can move toward the changes you want in your life.

Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (SFH) combines the practical, goal-oriented principles of Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) with the calming, transformative power of hypnosis. Unlike some approaches that focus on exploring the past in detail, SFH is goal-oriented, helping you create meaningful change and move confidently toward your preferred future.

I offer a free 20 minute consultation, where we can talk about your personal challenges and we can look briefly at how hypnotherapy and mindset tools can help you move gently towards change.

By keeping the focus on solutions and the future, SFH allows you to move forward without having to revisit traumatic events or dwell on the past. My approach is evidence-based, brain-informed, and tailored to help you achieve real, lasting change.

Positive change doesn’t have to be complicated — it just takes the right guidance and a safe space to explore what you really want. It’s incredibly rewarding to see my clients move from feeling stuck to feeling more in control, confident, and hopeful about the future.

When I’m not working with clients, you’ll often find me walking in nature, paddle boarding during the summer months, reading, or enjoying time with my family. I believe in balance and taking time to recharge - values I bring into every session.

    Next, we focus on what you want to create. We’ll look at how you want to show up in your day-to-day life, what you'd like more of, and what a better future could look like. Together, we’ll build a rich picture of your desired future.

    The final step is deep relaxation. I guide you into a calm, focused state that helps reduce stress, reinforces what we’ve explored, and begins the process of rewiring patterns in the brain. Think of this as your new beginning.
